Managing equipment and supplies across a fleet of vessels can be challenging. Without a clear and accurate inventory tracking system, companies often face the risk of oversupplying, leading to unnecessary expenses. By optimizing inventory management, you can ensure that you always know what you have in stock, thereby avoiding wasteful oversupply and saving money.

The inventory module helps you manage and monitor all (spare) parts and stock, and to make sure the minimum amount of a particular part is still available. You can divide the parts in to different categories. The colours of the parts show (just like any other module) the current status of that part. The inventory library allows you to set up (frequently) used parts which you can then distribute to other locations that also use these parts.

Marad has the ability to view your stock based on their category, physical location, and link to the component in your planned maintenance system. For example, a lube filte can be located in a storage space in the engine room, linked to the main engine, and categorized as ‘Filter’.

Yes, the inventory module is fully linked to maintenance and purchase. Signing off a job that consumes a filter will automatically result in a deduction of the stock. If the stock runs low, you can right-click the part and purchase it immediately!
